Trout Fishing In America

"Some of the most lyrically creative, musically sophisticated, vocally muscular music-makers in the family music business." -- LA Times
Trout Fishing In America

Trout Fishing in America is the long-standing musical partnership of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. These two have carved out in three decades of writing, recording and performing together. Performing Songwriter Magazine included them in their “Top 100 most influential independent artists in the past 15 years” list.

The newest release and Grammy nominated Big Round World, includes seven songs that were derived form songwriting workshops with children across America. The previous release and Grammy nominated My Best Day was recorded before a live audience sponsored by the Arkansas Educational Television Network. The 15 songs cover a range of topics and themes, from odes to friends whom we love despite the fact they talk to much, to alien nose invasions and snowflakes named Bob. With the release of their twelfth CD, Merry Fishes to All, Trout Fishing earned their second Grammy nomination.
