Rick Scott combines music and humour in lively, participatory songs for all ages written and performed on Appalachian dulcimer. Over the past 20 years he has performed more than one thousand family concerts throughout Canada, the U.S., Australia and Southeast Asia. His seven award winning family music CDs have been honoured with Parents’ Choice, NAPPA Gold, Children’s Music Web, Canadian Folk Music and iParenting Media Awards.

His most requested songs include a hip hop tribute to Mozart (YO MO CONCERTO), a celebration of Elephants (ELEPHANT RIDE) and a cheeky new Canadian anthem  (EH CANADA). Rick is Goodwill Ambassador for the Down Syndrome Research Foundation and celebrates children with special needs in his songs ANGELS DO, GOOD FOOTIN’ and UPSIDE OF DOWN.
