Lanny Sherwin is the President of Sandman Records and the writer/producer of the Dream with Me Tonight lullaby series and Turn Up the Music! Born in Cleveland, OH, and raised on rock, folk, Motown, and garage band influences of the 60s and 70s, Lanny has had a guitar in his hand since his teens.

His lyrics are a combination of silly and serious. Some of the songs address acceptance and tolerance, doing our best, and respect for nature and animals, combining a myriad of musical styles including Doo-Wop, Pop, Motown, Rock, and Carribean. Lanny tries to write to the whole family — kids, parents, and grandparents. Sandman Records donates a portion of the proceeds from Dream with Me Tonight, Vol. 1 to the Spina Bifida Association of America.
