A resident of Southern California, a devoted husband and father of two young children, Dirk Shumaker was inspired to create this CD to help his children and other kids discover the wonders and joys of the beautiful world around us. Dirk is a multi-talented musician who has been composing and performing music professionally for the past ten years. He is most well-known for his association with the neo-swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Titles include his platinum-selling self-titled album released in February 1998, “This Beautiful Life” in October 1999 and his latest effort “Save My Soul” released in July 2003. Dirk is currently on a nationwide tour with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and working on his second solo release.
