David Williams is a classically trained film composer and conductor as well as having studies in jazz composition and arranging. Born in Macomb, Illinois; raised in St. Louis, Missouri, David graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with studies in composition, orchestration and performance on classical guitar.

David’s love of Jazz, of performing, living and breathing his art as a working musician in various ensembles, supported him in his early years. Although an accomplished pianist and guitarist, his strength lies in composing, and he began his film scoring journey on short films, documentaries, and commercials before his feature film career took off.
